About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Producer to play a pivotal role in our team. As a Junior Producer at 970 Design, you will support project teams, orchestrating the delivery of a diverse range of web, graphic design, and marketing projects. Your role will be critical in bridging communication between clients and our creative team, ensuring smooth execution and delivery of high-quality work.

Your responsibilities in this role:

  • Support the Producer in coordinating and communicating across multiple projects. This includes tracking key milestones, project progress, and timelines, and assisting with proactive communication to relevant parties.
  • Help in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets under the guidance of the Producer to contribute to the timely and successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide support in addressing and resolving challenges that arise during project lifecycles, under the supervision of the Producer.
  • Assist in maintaining a balanced perspective on complex project initiatives, combining creativity and practicality under the direction of the Producer.
  • Aid in fostering and managing client relationships, helping to set and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to assist in understanding project scope, objectives, budget, and timeline, contributing to the development of project plans.
  • Where appropriate, assist in engaging with the beneficiaries whom our clients serve, incorporating their perspectives into project design.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support alignment and facilitate a seamless workflow, focusing on preventing burnout and creative fatigue.
  • Assist in cultivating strong relationships with clients by supporting the execution of quality work and building trust.
  • Support in identifying potential scope extensions and assist the Account Manager in integrating these into the project plan.
  • Research, vet, and coordinate with third-party vendors for print collateral solutions, under the guidance of the Producer.
  • Provide assistance in managing photoshoots, which includes helping with talent sourcing, liaising with photographers, and purchasing necessary props.
  • Assist in reporting project outcomes, including providing a high-level project overview and detailing specific social & environmental impacts enabled by our project work.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience such as internships or project work in web, graphic design, or marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey project statuses and timelines.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting, both internally and with clients, demonstrating strong collaborative skills.
  • Basic skills in analyzing and understanding data reports, with an eagerness to develop these skills further.
  • Some experience or familiarity with WordPress for website updates is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge or interest in digital and print advertising campaigns; willingness to learn about the complexities of ad buys.
  • Ability to assist with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, underlining strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a supportive, punctual, reliable, and flexible team player.
  • Basic skills in multitasking and prioritizing tasks, focusing on learning how to drive projects to successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn tools such as Asana, Google Suite, Harvest, Slite, Indesign, and Slack.

Salary & Full-Time Benefits:

** Must have agency experience. This is not an entry-level position **

Your responsibilities in this role:

  • Act as the primary point of coordination and communication for multiple projects, proactively communicating key milestones, project progress, and timelines
  • Effectively manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Address and resolve challenges and obstacles that arise during project lifecycles.
  • Maintain realistic perspectives on complex project initiatives, balancing creativity with practicality.
  • Foster and manage client relationships, setting and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Working closely with the account manager to understand the scope, project objectives (including social/environmental impact), budget, and timeline to build project plans
  • Where appropriate, directly engaging with the beneficiaries who our clients serve to incorporate their perspective in the project design
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and facilitate a seamless workflow with an emphasis on negating burnout and creative fatigue
  • Cultivating strong relationships with clients built on trust and execution of quality work
  • Identifying scope extensions and working with the Account Manager to incorporate those into the project plan
  • Researching, vetting, and coordinating with third-party vendors to deliver print collateral solutions on behalf of clients
  • Managing photoshoots, including talent sourcing, photographer communications, and purchasing necessary props
  • Reporting project outcomes, including high-level project overview as well as specific social & environmental impacts enabled by our project work

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience as a producer or project manager in web, graphic design, or marketing.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, conveying project statuses and timelines effectively and providing insights from reports to clients.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and contribute to internal and client discussions.
  • Ability to analyze, understand, and share data reports with clients
  • Proficiency in WordPress for website updates
  • Strategic insight on small and large digital and print advertising campaigns
  • Experience working with complex ad buys
  • Communication of both branding and digital project status and timelines.
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to provide optimal solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong leader and collaborative teammate known for punctuality, reliability, and flexibility
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to drive projects to successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Google Suite, Harvest, Slite, Indesign, and Slack. Willingness to learn new tools as required.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience managing agency projects.
