OPPORTUNITY + APPROACH
Giving back has always been a core tenet of 970 Design, so we were thrilled at the opportunity to work with Community Builders, who came to us looking for web design, content strategy, and branding to help them better communicate their organization’s goal–helping to make affordable housing available to everyone throughout the American West.
We started with web design principles that mirrored the organization’s mindset. We used bright colors that matched its aspirational mission, and simple, direct fonts that helped deliver Community Builders’ messaging impactfully. And we understood the best way to help connect people with the resources Community Builders offers was by making them easily accessible, so we developed a website that focused on a minimalistic, easily navigable layout.
We established Community Builders to make a meaningful impact on some of the most challenging issues faced by communities in the American West. In doing so, we’ve developed a process of continuous monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning to allow us to accurately measure our impact and improve our work in building more livable communities for all.
