Christina Rivera
Christina is an author, essayist, and environmental writer from Colorado. She’s won a Pushcart Prize, the John Burrough’s Nature Essay Award, and was a finalist for the Siskiyou Prize for New Environmental Literature. Her work has appeared in Orion, Terrain.org, the Kenyon Review, and many other places. Her debut book of ecofeminist essays, MY OCEANS, is forthcoming from Curbstone Books/Northwestern University Press in the spring of 2025. Before pursuing her writing career, Christina worked for sixteen years (‘04-’20) in the field of International Experiential Education in various roles, including Communications Director, Princeton University Bridge Year Programs Director, and Digital & Social Media Director.
